Alpine World Ascents is at home in the mountains around the world; our playground is the vertical and our adventures take you to the edge in the mountains close and afar. We offer guided trips in rock climbing, ice climbing, mountaineering, ski touring and ski mountaineering, via ferratas and trekking locally and in the mountains around the world. Our experienced guides have the knowledge, technical skills and personable traits to guide you everywhere, be it on popular tours, off the beaten path or unknown terrain.

Our philosophy:

• Alpine World Ascents has willingly been kept a small company consisting of Markus as the founder/owner and lead-guide and his group of independent guides. With that choice we have the freedom to work with those guides who not only fulfill industry standards, but also match our philosophy. For that reason, all our guides are hand-picked professionals with the highest level of expertise and a personable attitude.

• As professional guides we climb and ski foremost for the enjoyment of our clients and are dedicated to providing a unique and most rewarding experience regardless of the nature and difficulty of the tour. Much of our work comes from guests who come back to roam the mountains with us on a regular basis. We value the relationships with our existing clientele and welcome the new ones to become part our mountain family.

• Though outfits make their money in cookie-cutter trips and large groups, we specialize in custom designed trips and promote small groups. This way the experience is more enjoyable and allows us to adjust to your specific skill level and interests, maintain a higher degree of flexibility and optimize safety. As life long guides, the mountains have become our lifestyle and we can't afford to compromise on enjoyment and safety.

In our fast paced world, we invite you to slow down, turn your thoughts away from your daily grind and focus on beauty, silence and adventure. Nature, the mountains, are a wild place where we can re-discover the adventurer in ourselves, confront raw challenges and embrace the unknown.
