Toprope Anchors 

The first step in becoming a competent climber on your own! This hands-on 1-day course provides the technical knowledge necessary to safely rig anchors for toprope climbing and rappelling. Maximum group size is 6 participants with 1 guide.

Single-Pitch Lead Climbing 

Take your skills to the next level and become a safe and competent sport and trad lead climber. This essential 1-day course introduces you to the exciting world of lead climbing. While always under direct supervision of your guide, participants start out with mock-leads, graduating with a lead climb on the sharp-end.

Pre-requisite: basic experience gear placements and anchor building, experience rappelling, ability to comfortably climb 5.7 outdoors. Maximum group size is 4 participants with 1 guide.

Multi-Pitch Climbing 

You’re ready to learn the necessary skills to tackle bigger routes! Or you wish to optimize your leading skills to enable you to smoothly climb even bigger routes! This course is designed to teach you advanced lead skills, smooth transitions and efficient rope systems to become a competent lead climber to cruise complex grade IV-VI routes. Selecting from the topics listed below, your guide will customize this course based on your level of skill and experience in consideration of your specific objectives.

Pre-requisite: experience leading single pitch trad routes, anchor building, rappelling, ability to comfortably climb 5.7 outdoors. Maximum group size is 3 participants with 1 guide.

Self Rescue for Climbers 

Climbing up high on a rock face- especially in remote areas- places the responsibility of avoiding and escaping trouble on your own. Learn the essentials of accident prevention and high-angle rescue for rock climbers.

We cover a wide range of topics including escaping the belay, load transfers, passing a knot, ascending a rope, constructing a pulley system, assisted rappells and lowers, etc, to manage complex scenarios like rescuing an injured leader several pitches up a route. 

Cost: $135 per person (group size 2-6); 1 person $240 - All gear provided as needed.
